Even Super Villains need advice: including what to read.
Reviewing books I haven’t read so you don’t have to read them either.
I don’t know a lot about art, but I do know what I don’t like: art books.
I just don’t get them. Isn’t art meant to be keep in museums and art galleries so it can be stolen and put on some criminal genius’s wall? You can’t steal books and put them up on your wall. Well, you can but it isn’t the same.
So, already I’m bias against this one already even though it’s regularly recommended to me. Art of War. Paintings of battles. How is that appealing? Art I have for looking at and feeling tranquil. If I was to see battles I’ll just switch my media wall to the live satellite feed of the current front in my war to take over a small South Pacific country which will remain classified for operational reasons. There not only do I get a representation of war, but it isn’t static: it’s always changing and it’s in real time.
And you don’t want to leave books with war pictures lying around. That’s how they caught Hannibal Lecter.
